Saturday Water Polo (DSC)

The very popular Saturday competition is an intra club competition played by girls and boys in years 5 and above, who have played FlippaBall or are capable swimmers. The DSC is about enjoying social water polo with friends. It is also a great way of gaining experience and progressing through to the Junior Metro League Water Polo Competition (JSL).

What’s Planned for 2026/27

  • Every game will finish with a winner! 🏆
No draws — if scores are tied at full time, we’ll head straight into penalty shootouts (most likely best-of-three before sudden death) to decide the match. It’s fast, fun, and guaranteed to keep everyone on the edge of their seat — whether you’re in the pool or cheering from the stands.

Players from schools or districts are encouraged to nominate their own teams or you can form your own. Individually registered players will be placed in teams. Teams play a round robin competition with finals. The pool is divided in to halves for all DSC age groups

DSC players are encouraged to register for DSC Training to complement and improve their DSC game.

Recommended proficiency: Able to swim 50 metres freestyle and tread water
