Raffle: Win your fees paid for 2024/25
Promotion period: 4th September - 13th September, 2024
Raffle Opens: 9:00am Wednesday 4th September, 2024
Raffle Closes: 11:59pm Friday 13th September, 2024
Raffle Draw: 5pm, Saturday 14th September, 2024
Prize pool value: $715.00
Season 2024/25 Refund of Fees paid and/or Club Merchandise to the value of $715.
There are no 2nd or 3rd prizes.
There is only one (1) prize winner. The winner will receive:
All tickets must be purchased online by credit or debit card.
Purchasers must be members of UWA Water Polo Club.
There are no limits to the quantity of tickets sold. Cost is $50 per ticket.
The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing by email. The first and last name of the prize winner will be published on the sites below the next day after the draw on Sunday 15th September 2024
All times and dates published on our website, in our promotional material and in these Terms and Conditions are listed in Australian Western Standard Time (AWST) unless otherwise stated.
Publicity
UWA Water Polo Club may use prize winners details for promotional purposes. By entering this raffle, the 'Major Prize Winner' agrees to participate in reasonable media activities concerning the promotion and to photographs or video of the winner being used for the Promoter's marketing and promotional activities (both in print and on the internet).
Prizes
Images used in all promotional materials are for display purposes only. Prizes awarded may not be as illustrated.
Main Prize is NOT transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
Main/First Prize Details
Season 2024/25 Refund of Fees paid and/or Club Merchandise to the value of $715.
There is only one (1) prize winner. The winner will receive:
Conduct of draws
UWA Water Polo Club at its offices at HBF Stadium, 100 Stephenson Avenue, Mount Claremont WA 6010 will conduct a randomised draw and the prize will be awarded to the first drawn entrant.
Unclaimed prizes will be dealt with in accordance with the procedures set out in the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987 (WA).
Exclusion of liability and indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants waive any and all rights that they or any other person claiming through them may have, against UWA Water Polo Club, its directors, employees and agents, and they release UWA Water Polo Club, its directors, employees and agents from any and all claims, actions, proceedings and demands arising in relation to any injury (including death), property damage, consequential loss and any other loss, that is suffered by them or any person claiming through them as a direct or indirect result of their participation in the competition, regardless of whether such loss arises under statute or in tort including the negligence of UWA Water Polo Club or otherwise.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants will indemnify and keep indemnified UWA Water Polo Club, its directors, employees and agents against any claim or proceedings that is made, threatened or commenced, including for consequential loss and loss of profits and including legal costs on a full indemnity basis, that UWA Water Polo Club, its employees or agents incur or suffer as a direct or indirect result of the entrant’s participation in the competition. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UWA Water Polo Club exclude all warranties or guarantees regarding the event including any warranty or guarantee that any services will be rendered with due care and skill or that any goods supplied in connection with those services will be reasonably fit for the purpose for which they are supplied. To the extent that liability for any warranty or guarantee cannot by law be excluded, then, to the fullest extent permitted by law, UWA Water Polo Club's liability:
- 1. for death, physical or mental injury or disease (including any aggravation or
acceleration of such injury or disease) is entirely excluded; and
- 2. otherwise is limited, at UWA Water Polo Club's option, to supplying the goods or
services again or paying the cost of having the goods or services supplied again.
Refunds
There are no refunds permitted.
Changes
Where it is lawful to do so, these Terms and Conditions may be updated to address any errors or to clarify information and re-published online
Purchasers
Frank di Costa (CEO) will be the only excluded purchaser.
Confirming Winners
In the event that there is any doubt or dispute as to the identity of the winner or as to the manner in which the prize is to be paid then the matter will be referred to the Frank di Costa (CEO) for resolution.
The decision of the CEO shall be final and binding. The CEO will not be acting as an arbitrator and the CEO's decision shall not be subject to challenge or review.
Acceptance
By participating in the UWA Water Polo raffle you are deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
We need to collect personal information to process your purchase and to notify you if you are a winner, communicate with you about other UWA Water Polo Club raffles and initiatives, and conduct normal business.
By providing your personal information, you agree that your information will be used and disclosed by UWA Water Polo Club in accordance with this Collection Statement and our Privacy Policy
