About UWAWPC JUNIOR ACADEMY 2026
Training Period: 11th May - 18th September (two week break over July school holidays)
Winter is the perfect time to hone your water polo skills and prepare for an exceptional 2026/27
season with the UWA Water Polo Club's Winter Junior Academy. The objective of the Junior Academy is to teach young players the core skills and techniques to enable them to progress into the club’s WA Junior League teams (WAJL), Western Australian Performance Program (WAPP) and future state representation. This is a 17 week programme.
JUNIOR ACADEMY OFFERS:
- Winter training for players who have played WAJL and new players wanting to play WAJL in Summer Season 2026/27.
- Two age groups: Born 2013, 2014 (U13s) & Born 2015, 2016 (U11s)
- Separate boys & girls programs for U13s & U11s
- Two water polo sessions a week, plus 3 optional swim sessions each week and monthly tournament v’s other club’s Academy teams, subject to availability
Please note the following:
- No discount for missed sessions
- No training over July school holidays
